"The early start of my success story was about five months ago. Some of my ME-friends wanted to try the LP-method to get well. I was tremendously sceptic, but after a while I decided to go along. I did an enormous amount of work to convince myself that LP would help me to get well - and I constantly heard of people (friends of friends) that had got completely well after a three days course in London. When the seminar started I was -almost- convinced that I would benefit by learning LP. My goals were to be in control over my life and to not be in need of my ill-chair anymore. I have achieved both. My chair is gone, I don’t miss it because I don’t need it. I am starting to take control over my life, step by step. I have energy, my posture is good, I walk, I read, the look in my eyes is different,- I look awake. The greatest wonder of it all; I am not sensitive to sounds now. I missed listening to music and the radio, and now I can do that. All day, if I want to. I use the LP all the time, some days more than others. I use it alone and around people. The CD has been of great help and support. People around me are amazed. So am I - for the first time in several years I am looking forward to my own future. Now I will use some months to get used to be "normal" and to be as clearheaded and body-strong as possible. To be in control!" |
