Have you ever wondered why many so people find it almost
impossible to fully achieve their most heartfelt goals, dreams or
ambitions; whether it’s within their career, relationships, sport, or
other valued performance area? Sometimes even when working with a highly skilled and experienced coach to assist them in reaching their potential, they will struggle, try hard, underperform and ultimately be disappointed. This tends to become an automatic (unconscious) pattern resulting in them either giving up on their goal just before they achieve it, or else they won’t even attempt to pursue their goal because of the negative consequences involved if they fail. This pattern is a clear indication that an internal conflict exists, which successfully sabotages their success, each and every time - leading to feelings of disappointment, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, fear of failure and feeling stuck. Depending on the duration of the conflict pattern it can even manifest in physical or emotional illness. From the moment we are born our inner (unconscious) minds are like sponges that absorb information about how to behave, how to respond to others and how to relate to the world around us. We learn or ‘inherit’ these life skills from our parents, guardians, teachers, preachers and others who are charged with our formative wellbeing. If you have ever heard yourself saying “I should do this...", "I ought to do that...", “I always have to..." or “I can’t do...” this is a good indication that you have a ‘hand me down’ belief in relation to the subject or situation. Whilst many of these beliefs will be very positive and essential ‘shoulds’ - for example: “I should always look left and right before crossing the road” or “I shouldn’t put my hand in the cooker flame” - we also inherit many inappropriate and often outdated beliefs, especially in relation to our life, business or relationship aspirations. In fact often what we’ve always considered important and true to us (our values and beliefs) is not always (and in fact rarely is) appropriate for us right now in our lives. This realisation and conflict can lead to us feeling dissatisfied at best and at worst, that we’re not deserving or not good enough, rendering us powerless to fulfil our potential. Modern science now recognises that every cell in our body has a memory, and because EFT works to release your emotional blocks at the deepest cellular level, it restores the natural, healthy, energy flow to the body-mind systems. Using EFT within the coaching process can powerfully and often rapidly assist you in uncovering what has prevented you from being, doing and having precisely what you really want. You will be able to resolve the inner conflicts that have up until now, blocked your path to the success you deserve. This gentle yet powerful process allows you to generate new perspectives, empowering you to achieve the clarity needed to create what you truly want and to become the most magnificent, congruent, and excellent 'You' in all aspects of your life. + Click here to return to the home page + Click here to go to the main EFT information page |
